We are delighted to announce MGI Worldwide's admission as a Member of the Forum of Firms with effect from 1 January 2019. Joining the Forum of Firms is a major milestone for MGI Worldwide and will be of great benefit to many of our member firms across our international accounting network.
A further commitment to audit quality
MGI Jebsen & Co. is proud to be part of MGI Worldwide which is a member of the Forum of Firms (FoF). The FoF is an international organisation whose members are all international networks of accountants. The objective of the FoF, who works closely with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), is to promote consistent and high-quality standards of financial reporting and auditing practice worldwide.
Member networks of the FoF have confirmed that they have policies and methodologies with respect to transnational audits that are based, to the extent practicable, on International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and conform to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants, and that they maintain appropriate quality control standards in accordance with International Standards on Quality Control published by IESBA, in addition to relevant national standards.
MGI Worldwide as a member network has also confirmed that it conducts, to the extent not prohibited by national regulation, regular globally coordinated internal quality assurance reviews.
